Improve Your Voice

Speak so others listen & understand

Your voice and speech are your calling cards.   Make sure they say professional as soon as you open your mouth.  Does your voice get tired?  Do you speak too softly?  Could you sound more confident and authoritative?  If so, we can help.

What:

A voice coach can help people develop the range, power, clarity and appeal of their speaking voice. A voice coach can also help people overcome speech issues that can make it difficult for others to understand them.

“The right voice coach can ensure you always put your best foot forward. After all, your voice is your calling card, and it creates lasting impressions.  It is also a wind instrument, and one you can learn how to play.”

Who:

A voice coach is ideal for people with regional or foreign accents who want to be heard and understood. People who feel they are not listened to when they speak. Those whose voices get tired, who speak too softly or quickly, who mumble or lack vocal dynamics, who struggle to project confidence, warmth, and authority.

Why:

It’s an important skill to develop and important tool to have.  After all, your voice and speech are your calling cards–your tickets to success. People make snap judgments based on the way you sound, and snap judgments can be lasting judgments.  In reality, most vocal problems are easily corrected with a little effort and practice over time.

How:

Voice and speech training is available as private coaching and small group workshops.  Make sure your voice and speech are doing justice to your abilities. Make sure others hear and understand what you say.

Some of the most popular areas covered include:

  • improve clarity and pronunciation of English words
  • speak more slowly or with more energy
  • get rid of “ers” and “uhms” and other habits
  • increase vocal vitality, pitch range, and expressiveness
